› Speed Art Museum, located at 2035 South Third Street, next to the Universty of Louisville.  Established in 1927, the Speed Art Museum is Kentucky's oldest and largest art museum with over 13,000 pieces in its permanent collection.  Its extensive collection spans 6,000 years, ranging from ancient Egyptian to contemporay art. From cocktail parties to elegant receptions with dinner and dancing, the Speed offers one of Louisville’s most unique and beautiful venues. Offering a variety of services and spaces.  The Speed Art Museum does not intend to rent its facility for: certain political events or religious services: fundraisers; formals or proms; or events where entrance requires a ticket purchase.  The Speed Art Museum reserves the right to exclude any rental deemed to be a risk to Museum property or interest. › The Peterson Dumesnil House, located at 309 South Peterson Avenue in Crescent Hill.  Built in 1869 this victorian home has the Southern charm and elegance for any type of catered event.  Perfect for ceremonies and receptions, birthday celebrations, corporate events and galas.  The beautiful gardens and grounds compliment tents and larger events.  The house will hold up to 150 guests for a standing style reception or seating in the house for 65 and additional 60 guests on the covered veranda.  For tours of the house, contact Emilie at 502-456-6762 ext.19 or email emilie@petersondumesnil.org Click here for photos of the house and grounds.

› Muhammad Ali Center, located at 144 N. Sixth Street.  We offer large and small venues for all your event needs – showers, rehearsal dinners, wedding ceremonies, receptions and more.  Our most popular venue - View Pointe Hall – can accommodate between 300-500 guests (seating for 280 with dance floor) and features magnificent river views. Our 2 ½ levels of award-winning exhibits are included with your special event.  We are now able to offer outdoor areas in conjunction with our indoor event spaces.
